The Bourne Supremacy Opening Analysis

As per usual at the beginning of the opening it includes the production team and the title of the film. This opening titles is a good example of one which doesn't give too much away, making us think, it starts with a narrator giving away a lot of suggestion shut nothing clear with the images also not being extremely clear .

The use of fast images being shown at the very beginning was used well as it created tension right from the off making us focus on what the shots are showing and where he is or who he was. as more shots are being shown the faster and faster the shots are shown only being seen for half a second at one point.

as the shots stop and the pace comes to an immediate holt we finally see who the main character is and where they are giving us more information but still not giving away who they are or where they had come from.

Also i noticed that there wasn't a lot of use of sound, there wasn't any music playing from the beginning but that just put emphasis on the gun shot we hear, which means they wanted the audience to feel surprised by the shot but also wanted us to expect it from the increase in pace of the shots changing and sound increasing.
